Cops have arrested a suspect in the death of a 25-year-old man fatally shot in the Bronx last month by gunman riding a moped, police said Thursday.
Police identified the victim as Mott Haven resident Luis Marcano Sanchez, who died after he was shot several times in the torso by a moped-riding assailant near Bryant and Lafayette Aves. in Hunts Point June 9 around 8:15 p.m.
After the shooting, the gunman sped off and remained on the loose.
On Thursday around 12:45 p.m., Kleiderson Chacon Garcia, 29, was arrested and charged with the slaying of Marcano Sanchez, police said.
Chacon Garcia lives in Fordham, about four miles from where the shooting took place, according to cops.
